Regional Analysis

LESSON OVERVIEW

This lesson introduces the Regional Analysis feature in Rare Monitor — a powerful visual tool for understanding where your best opportunities exist geographically. You’ll learn how to:

• Access the Regional Analysis view and adjust geographic segmentation.

• Compare territories or regions to identify where opportunities are most concentrated.

• Analyse regions by population, treatment type, or clinic count.

• Create new territories based on data-driven regional insights.

Step-By-Step Instructions

  • 1

    Open Regional Analysis

    1. From the left-hand navigation, select Planning, then choose Regional Analysis.

    2. The map will load showing the UK divided into default regions.

    3. On the left-hand panel, choose how you want to segment the map:

    •   NUTS 1 – broad areas such as Scotland or the South East.
    •   NUTS 2 / NUTS 3 – smaller, detailed regions.
